I really enjoyed this book. The relationship between Mia and William built up well and Mia's reasons for her actions made sense. I liked the way that events outside the 2 of them had an impact on their interactions - especially when they visited a village the pirates had raided (though it was an upsetting passage to read).I would recommend this to anyone who likes historical romance and who likes getting an idea of the place setting for the stories they read. The descriptions of the changing weather in the Caribbean were well written.
